Four residents are under arrest after officers from the Maricopa Police Department discovered a marijuana plant lab inside a home on Friday, Nov. 16.

The four – Andres Hernandez, 36; Roxanne Hernandez, 24; David Hartman, 41; and Tanner Vicory, 25 – were all residents of the home and were all charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, production of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia for cultivation or harvesting.

Police were called to the home, located in the 42000 block of West Hillman Drive, around 10:30 a.m. to respond to a complaint about a man waving a gun in the street, Deputy Chief Kirk Fitch reported. When officers arrived, they found an unarmed man matching the description, who told police he heard screaming coming from a nearby residence.

Officers found a man in the home screaming at someone on the phone and discovered marijuana contraband in plain sight. After obtaining a warrant, officers searched the house to find 26 plants as part of what Fitch described as a “marijuana growing operation.”

The four suspects have been booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.
