Chandler University has named Glenna McCollum as its first president, beginning July 1. McCollum's most recent post was as president of the Chandler Education Foundation. She is a native to Chandler, and has been in educational leadership since 1990. McCollum holds a doctorate in management and organizational leadership from University of Phoenix, a master's in public health and nutrition from Loma Linda University, and bachelor degrees from Arizona State University. Chandler University will begin as an online university offering programs in business, computer science, education, liberal arts, nursing, nutrition, and sustainability.
