SRP has introduced a power outage map on its website, srpnet.com, as an alternative to the call center hotline to learn when a home or business will have power restored.

During power outages often caused by monsoons, customers can experience long wait times to get this information on the traditional hotline. Now, customers can instead sign into their SRP account to view the map.

The map will show pushpins that indicate an outage and also provide outage details, such as affected areas and the estimated time of restoration. The map is currently only viewable on computers, but it should be made available on smart phones and tablets within a few weeks.
