Three classrooms of students were evacuated from McClintock High School in Tempe, shortly after a fire was discovered inside a restroom Wednesday morning.

Linda Littell, a spokeswoman for the Tempe Unified High School District, said  the fire was noticed inside the building at 1830 E. Rio Drive about 9:20 a.m., and police and fire crews are investigating its cause.

No major damage was caused, and the students were allowed to go back inside the building after a short time, Littell said.
