Testing on Arizona’s Instrument to Measure Standards gets underway this month for students in the state’s public schools.

Students' scores improve on 2009 AIMS test

Reading and math will be given to grades three through eight. Science will be given to fourth- and eighth-graders. High school students can retake AIMS this month to improve their scores.

Some school districts may also test students in writing in grades three, four, eight and nine. Information: Check with your school.
