Students at community colleges in the East Valley can now earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northern Arizona University at Chandler-Gilbert Community College and Mesa Community College.
“I like that it’s local and I don’t have to travel to Flagstaff,” said Thalia Duraze, a student earning her bachelor’s degree on the Chandler-Gilbert campus.
The program was first established at the Paradise Valley Community College campus with six students in 2006.
Students can start the program at the community college level then seamlessly transfer to finish their bachelor’s in their community with NAU Extended Campuses or start and finish the degree through NAU Extended Campuses at a local community college.
