Misael Cabrera, a registered professional engineer, has been selected as the deputy director of the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Cabrera, 41, has nearly two decades of experience in business leadership, regulatory negotiations, contract management, permitting, design, and construction management, according to a news release.
Cabrera has worked most recently as a senior client leader and senior engineer for Haley & Aldrich's Industrial Environmental practice based in Phoenix. Cabrera, who has lived in Arizona since 1984, received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Arizona.
