Weather conditions, circumstances and time permitting, the Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department will conduct mosquito fogging midnight Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday in Gilbert and Mesa.
The first area in Gilbert is from Ocotillo to Chandler Heights roads and from Recker to Power roads. The second area is from Pecos Road to Germann Road/Sundance Court and from Recker to Power roads.
The first area in Mesa is from Broadway Road to Southern Avenue and from Val Vista Drive to Greenfield Road. The second area is from Broadway Road to Southern Avenue and from Greenfield to Higley roads.
Spraying takes place when local traps catch a high number of mosquitoes or if caught mosquitoes test positive for West Nile virus. For information, call (602) 506-0700.
