Interstate 40 reopens following dust storm

The Arizona Department of Public Safety reopened Interstate 40 near Winslow at 3 p.m. Wednesday following a dust storm that reduced visibility.

The highway was closed between the Meteor Crater Rest Area and Winslow.  The closure occurred at 8:51 a.m.

This stretch of the highway has been closed several times the past few weeks when high winds hit the area.
