East Valley schools will take on new programs thanks to learning grants awarded by SRP. More than $124,000 was awarded for math and science projects in 29 schools.
East Valley winners include: Chandler's Archway Classical Academy and Jane Dee Hull Elementary School; Gilbert's Burk Elementary School, Gilbert Elementary School, Edu-Prize charter school and Lauren's Institute for Education; Mesa's Academy with Community Partners; Tempe's CI Waggoner Elementary School and Emmanuel Lutheran School; and Ahwatukee Foothills' Desert Vista High School.
