A gunman robbed OK Tobacco store in Mesa about 11 a.m. Wednesday and then fled the scene, police said.
The victim told police the robber displayed a handgun and demanded cash at the shop at 1720 W. Southern Ave. She said the gunman fled in a green or blue Dodge Neon.
Police describe the robber as black, in his mid-20s, about 6-foot-3 and weighing 200 pounds.
He had a distinctive large burn or scar on the top of one of his hands, and wore a light brown hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans.
