Pinal County Sheriff’s deputies have captured a second suspect wanted in a store robbery in San Tan Valley Saturday night.

According to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tim Gaffney, Humberto Sanchez, 18, and another male, 13, walked into the store on E. Skyline Market Road, grabbed two 18-packs of Bud Light beer and tried to leave without paying.

When the clerk tried to stop them, the 13-year-old fled on foot. Sanchez attempted to follow, but was caught by the clerk.

The 13-year-old and the clerk got into a fight and during the struggle, the clerk used a stun gun to try and restrain the 13-year-old.

When police arrived on scene, the 13-year-old was booked into the Pinal County Juvenile Detention Center for one count of aggravated robbery. Gaffney said he also has a prior arrest for a burglary offense.

Deputies found Sanchez late Monday night. He admitted his involvement in the robbery and also confessed to another home burglary in the area.

It's too bad he didn't use a 12 gauge on these two delinquents.
