In a case that may be stereotypically Scottsdale, police said Saturday they nabbed the “Botox Bandit.” For weeks, Scottsdale police have been asking for the public’s help to find a woman they say skipped out on a bill for $1,400 in botox cosmetic treatments from a Scottsdale spa.
Late Friday, someone spotted the woman — at the upscale Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix, no less. Phoenix police arrested the woman in the parking lot outside Saks Fifth Avenue and turned her over to Scottsdale police, detective Sam Bailey said.
The woman’s name was not immediately released. Police are still investigating whether she may be involved in ducking bills for other cosmetic treatments around the Valley.
But there’s one thing this incident has that some of the other cases don’t: Before and after photos. The spa took them as part of the woman’s treatment.
