Hall of Fame pitcher Fergie Jenkins will participate in a free Mesa Little League baseball clinic for league members on Monday.
The clinic, which is sponored by the Chicago Cubs and Keep The Cubs - Yes on Proposition 420 Committee, will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Hohokam Park, 1235 N. Center St. It will allow boys and girls to participate in running, throwing, hitting and fielding drills on the field where Chicago Cubs have played their spring training games for decades.
Registration prior to the event is required.
Parents or coaches may sign up their players via e-mail through Mark Yarbrough at mark@keepthecubs.com, the district's website at www.azd7.com or by calling Mesa Little League at (480) 345-0963.
