PHOENIX - Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano is headed to the presidential race battleground states of Ohio and Pennsylvania this weekend to campaign for fellow Democrat Barrack Obama.
Napolitano is among several high-profile female supporters that Obama's campaign is deploying to blunt Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's potential to persuade women to vote Republican.
Napolitano and Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius will participate in a rally in Columbus and three "economic town halls" there and in two other Ohio communities on Saturday.
On Sunday, Napolitano will participate in three events in Pittsburgh.
Napolitano's office says the Obama campaign is paying for her trip.
