Andrea Brennan, 32, of Scottsdale was driving an unreturned, rented orange Hummer when officers stopped her on suspicion of speeding early Wednesday at Scottsdale and Jomax roads.

A search of the vehicle turned up narcotics, prompting police to search Brennan's home in the 28000 block of North 110th Place that afternoon.

There, police discovered evidence of identity theft along with drugs and equipment related to making of methamphetamines.

A hazardous materials team arrived to ensure that the house was safe.

Police arrested Brennan on suspicion of theft of a rental car and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
