Former Republican state Sen. Chuck Gray has withdrawn from the race for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, endorsing former U.S. Rep. Matt Salmon. Gray made the announcement Tuesday, citing the new Congressional district lines that are proposed for the 2012 election.
Gray said in a news release that candidates who were announcing campaigns earlier in the year seemed to fall in different districts, but that the proposed district lines for the 2012 race would pit Republicans against each other.
Gray said he was endorsing Salmon because he would be the most conservative voice for a district that includes all of Gilbert, Queen Creek and Apache Junction plus parts of Mesa and Chandler.

Withdrawing because there are three good conservatives in this race ???
Did Chuck Gray have a "mouse in his pocket" when he said that...because I only see one (1) conservative candidate in this Congressional Race = Kirk Adams.
Kirk Adams isn't advocating....ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY...like Matt Salmon is.
Kirk Adams is a ..."TEA PARTY REPUBLICAN"....not a ...."UTAH COMPACT REPUBLICAN"...like Matt Salmon.
We all know that...Kirk Adams is not...or ever will be a...R.I.N.O. (R-epublican I-n N-ame O-nly).
Jeff Flake...supports...Matt Salmon....doesn't that say it all !!!
