A Chandler police officer responding to an emergency call was treated for minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday.
The officer, Sara Rozema, was traveling eastbound on Chandler Boulevard about 11 a.m. when a vehicle traveling northbound on Price Road crashed into her cruiser, according to Chandler police.
The driver of the other car was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to Sgt. Joe Favazzo, Chandler police spokesman.
Officers are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash to determine if someone ran a red light at the intersection or if speed was a factor, Favazzo said.
The intersection was cleared in about 30 minutes, Favazzo said.
