GPEC hosts medicine summit

The Greater Phoenix Economic Council will host a personalized medicine summit 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday. The summit will highlight the benefits of personalized medicine and identify Arizona's market strengths, competitiveness and opportunities for biomedical advancement. Speakers and panelists include Dr. David Alberts, director of The Arizona Cancer Center; Linda Hunt, senior vice president of operations at Catholic Healthcare West Arizona; and Anna Barker, director of Transformative Healthcare Networks, Arizona State University. The event will be held at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus Virginia G. Piper Auditorium, 550 E.
