The trial of Baseline Killer suspect Mark Goudeau will move forward despite an attempt by his lawyers to send the case back to the grand jury.
A judge ruled this week the indictments against Goudeau should stay intact.
Defense lawyer Rodrick Carter had claimed the grand jury that returned an indictment of Goudeau last year was biased.
Goudeau faces nine murder counts and other charges in the Baseline Killer case.
He is currently in prison on a rape conviction tied to the same case.
