As part of its Bringing Hope to the Table campaign, Fry's Food Stores donated a semi-truck full of food to United Food Bank on Thursday.

The delivery weighed in at just over 30,000 pounds and included nearly 40,000 individual boxes of whole grain crackers, cookies, protein bars and more.

Since 2006, Kroger's family of stores has generated contributions of $25 million in food and funds to local food banks through the annual Bringing Hope to the Table campaign.

Last year, Fry's donated more than 5 million meals to food banks around the state, said Jon Flora, president of Fry's Food Stores.

Normally I would say no big deal for Fry's, but in this day and age, good going! Now, where are the other store's donations?
