Scottsdale police arrested a man they say attempted to break into the Arizona Cancer Institute after cornering him on the roof of the building late Monday.
With the assistance of a K-9 officer, police discovered Mark Marchbanks, 31, at the building at 7337 E. Thomas Road about 11 p.m. after he failed to respond to police orders to leave the building.
