The Salvation Army’s Chandler Corps is sponsoring the Adopt-A-Family program during the holidays and is seeking businesses, groups, families or individuals who would like to commit to providing food and presents to a family for the holidays.

Also sought are families who could use the help during the holiday season.

The size of gifts provided will vary depending on the family size requested by donors.

Families from Chandler, Gilbert and Queen Creek in need of the holiday help can take part in the Christmas Assistance Program. The program will serve 800 families and about 2,000 children.

Through this program, each family will receive a Christmas food box, a gift certificate to Bashas’ and toys and/or clothes for their children ages newborn through 18 years.

Families must register for the Christmas assistance program by Wednesday to participate.

To take part in the program or become a donor, contact the Salvation Army at (480) 963-2041 or visit www.tsasw.com/chandler.
