It's going to be very difficult to find another mayor like Scott Smith. They just don't come along every day.
He has taken the office to a level unseen for years. His talent for "doing deals" and getting results is refreshing to see.
It has to be a personal sacrifice for him to work that hard for almost no pay. I salute him and his family for making the sacrifices they have made to try and make Mesa a better city.
