A 31-year-old man accused of firing gunshots as police responded to a domestic violence incident was arrested on suspicion of unlawful discharge of a firearm and other felony offenses after officers subdued him with a Taser early Sunday.
Police say Brandon King fired two shots after confronting the officer in a threatening manner at a residence in the 2900 block of West Marlboro Drive shortly after midnight.
When police responded to the incident, King briefly barricaded himself inside the house before firing two shots, police said.
The officer returned one shot moments before King surrendered. He later started resisting arrest again.
After police subdued King with a Taser, he was booked into a Maricopa County Jail.
