17-year-old becomes Eagle Scout

Alex Chalcraft, a 17-year-old Gilbert resident, became an Eagle Scout in late January.

Eagle Scout is the highest rank in Boy Scouts of America. Chalcraft, a Boy Scout since he was 6 with 31 merit badges to his name, is a member of Troop 172.
