Phoenix Race for the Cure raises $1.6M Tribune East Valley Tribune | 0 comments

The 20th Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure was held this past weekend – with at least $1.6 million raised for breast cancer research, treatment, education and screening.

Funds will continue to be collected through Oct. 31. A majority – 75 percent – will stay with the Phoenix Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and will help residents throughout central and northern Arizona. The remainder is given to Komen Research Grants.
