Stop lights are being installed in San Tan Valley to better manage the flow of traffic onto Hunt Highway from three major intersections. They are permanent signals hung on a wire that spans the road.

The signals at Copper Mine Road and Thompson Road are completed and in service. The signal at Johnson Ranch Boulevard is slated for activation in early June. There is road work and lane striping involved as well.
