The Pinal County Division of Environmental Health is working with the operators of a Florence Burger King after a cockroach problem was uncovered.

Environmental Health, which inspects food establishments inside Pinal County, investigated the Burger King after a complaint was received that someone found a cockroach in a drink.

Following an investigation, Pinal County officials said there were cockroaches inside the restaurant. Officials from Environmental Health are currently working with restaurant personnel, along with its district manager, to see that the insect problem is resolved to prevent a future problem.

Environmental Health will follow up with the establishment in 10 days to see if the corrective measures have been completed.
