Maricopa County sheriff's deputies have arrested one suspect and named another in connection with Sunday's burglary and vandalism of a Mesa senior citizens community center.
According to AZFamily.com, Justin Renner was taken into custody Monday afternoon near Recker Road and Main Street in Mesa. Police are also seeking Corey Robert Crabbs, 18, in connection with the crime. He is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 120 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Both are believed to be Mesa residents.
A resident at Dreamland Villa Community Club, a retirement community on an unincorporated county island at 320 N. 55th Place, reported a break-in at the community center around 4 a.m. Sunday, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the center, near Higley Road and University Drive, and found broken doors, windows and damaged electrical equipment. "Early estimates place the damage to be in the tens of thousands of dollars," sheriff's Sgt. Jesse Spurgin said in a press release.
Two young men were caught on video surveillance tape vandalizing the facility. Dreamland Villa offered a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call (602) 876-3774.

I sure hope MCSO or Mesa PD catch those kids. They need to pay for their actions....

Both over 18, so their deeds are going to be treated as ADULT crimes. Nice work !
Stupid little punks, either bored or feeling they had been 'dissed' by the DV community in some way.
Put them under the thumb of a VERY strict (re) construction crew and make them help rebuild the rooms. Then, they can work off the $$ amount of damage that can't be fixed with nails, boards and paint.
Or ---- they can go play BFF with Big Bubba and the boys at the County lockup.[wink]
