Traffic restrictions are planned for northbound Loop 101 between Southern Avenue in Mesa and Loop 202 in Chandler this weekend.
Between 11 p.m. Friday and 4 a.m. Sunday, Arizona Department of Transportation crews plan to reduce northbound Loop 101 to two lanes. Between 4 a.m. and 11 p.m. Sunday, it will be further reduced to one lane.
From 11 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Saturday, the ramp connecting eastbound Loop 202 to northbound Loop 101 will be closed. And from 11 p.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. Sunday, southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes at Frye Road.
Workers will be applying rubberized asphalt to the newly constructed high-occupancy vehicle lanes.
