In an effort to address the complex health and safety issues connected to teen dating abuse, Gilbert Unified School District will be offering a prevention program to eighth-grade students this spring. Students will participate in two days of instruction during physical education classes using the curriculum “Love is Not Abuse.”

Parents who want their student to participate must opt-in by returning a signed permission slip prior to the start of the presentations.

For more information, contact Prevention Coordinator Susan Cadena at (480) 545-2181.
