Mesa authorities arrested a hit-and-run suspect who injured several people after crashing into a mini-van near 75th Street and University Drive.

The collision occurred around 7:40 p.m. when a vehicle collided with a mini van with 6 people inside. 5 people were injured although authorities did not report life threatening injuries.

A 10-year-old boy, 16-year-old boy, 23-year-old pregnant woman, 20-year-old woman and a 40-year-old woman were transported to Valley hospitals for injuries. Mesa authorities said all victims were transported by ground except for the 10-year-old boy. He was transported by air as a precaution for a head injury.

Mesa police did not release further information regarding the suspect.
