The East Valley Tribune’s popular Nerdvana blog was honored by the Arizona Press Club as the best Metro Features Blog Saturday, with Nerdvana founder and lead bogger Jayson Peters winning first place in that category.
Other Tribune winners included sports editor Mark Heller, second place in short-form writing, and photo editor Tim Hacker and reporter Mike Sakal, third place in multimedia package.
