Wow, what a black eye for the Mormon church with these members. As the Mormon settlers decended westward, they nemed a university after Brigham Young. These women perhaps identify with Bring Em Young.
7 to 15 years is a slap on the wrist for her. How much will this cost the taxpayers for her endeavors. Ah, her husband is additionally on the county dole. Her hand is in the childs pants and her husbands hand is in the taxpayers pants. What a great country!

Why would this be a black eye for the Mormons? There are bad people who belong to every religion known. Just because one member does something evil doesn't mean every one in the organization is corrupt. This is just a messed up middle aged woman who liked young boys an she happens to be LDS. I'm more upset that she only gets 7-13. She'll be out sooner. If it were a man doing a 13 year old girl for that many years he'd get life.

Read the story in azcentral.com posted today. There is a whole lot more to this story (as I suspected). The church knew about this a lot earlier, so did her husband. It was swept under the rug and the cops were not notified earlier than they could have.

In god we trust, in the church we don't. This poor kid asked for help and went to the church to get it, yet he was ignored and continued to be abused to keep the church from looking bad. This disgusts me! Will the church pay for his therapy? The legal fee's? The jail fee's? His father should also face charges of neglect and aid in child abuse! As should everyone who knew about it and did nothing to help him.

My dad started sexually abusing (including intercourse) when I was 11 and it went on for several years. I have tried to kill myself 3 times. I have severe depression, Eating Disorders and Borderline Personality Disorder. I'm in my 50's. It's affects you forever.
