A westbound lane of Indian School Road, at Hayden Road, that was closed for about six hours due to a diesel fuel spill in Scottsdale this morning now is open.
A commercial pickup truck traveling in the westbound lane on Indian School was transporting cans of diesel fuel and one of them started leaking about 8 a.m. this morning, said Steve Ramsey, of the city’s information technology department. The lane re-opened about 2 p.m.
The truck pulled into a gas station on the corner of Indian School and Hayden while the spill was cleaned up.
