Several Gilbert Walmart Supercenters have made donations to help provide educational opportunities for students and educators in Gilbert public schools.

The Gilbert Education Foundation received a $2,000 donation from both the Gilbert Gateway Towne Center and the SanTan Village Walmart stores. An additional donation of $1,000 was made by the SanTan Village Sam’s Club.

These donations will assist the foundation in achieving its education goals to expand science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education in the Gilbert public high schools and provide scholarships for high school seniors and educators of Gilbert Unified School District. The funds will also contribute to the foundation’s efforts to expand social services and the Gilbert public school alumni website.

The Gilbert Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization benefiting the Gilbert district.
