Driver dies in cement truck crash

A Mesa man who was driving a 45-year-old Fort McDowell Enterprises cement truck died after crashing the vehicle Monday morning in north Scottsdale.

The man, whose name was not released, was attempting to navigate a curve in the 10500 block of East Desert Mountain Parkway about 10 a.m. and lost control of the truck, according to Scottsdale police.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and its cause is under investigation, police said.
