A Department of Public Safety officer was in critical condition late Tuesday night after a vehicle t-boned his car earlier in the day.

According to DPS officials the officer’s vehicle was struck on the passenger side at approximately 3:52 p.m.Tuesday on the eastbound I-10, near the mile post 357.
