Not to be a Grinch, but there's a no-burn restriction in place that will prevent you from legally burning a Yule log on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
Maricopa County issued the restriction Friday due to deteriorating air quality. The Arizona Department of Air Quality issued a high pollution advisory for Saturday and Sunday for fine particulates. The ban is meant to reduce particulate pollution caused by wood-burning fireplaces, fire pits and open outdoor burning. ADEQ recommends children and adults with respiratory problems avoid outdoor activity this weekend. For more information, visit www.CleanAirMakeMore.com.

I don't know why we waste time on this, from prior years posts its obvious that most folks don't care about anyone elses health problems etc. Is it Jan. yet? Isn't Christmass and what it means to some people these days wonderful?
