The 11th Annual Historic Home Tour in Mesa has been scheduled for Jan. 29, which will consist mostly of houses that have not been included in any of the prior tours.
The tour will feature nine homes in the Fraser Fields historic neighborhood, which began in the 1940s and was the first subdivision constructed outside the city's original boundaries.
Also, four homes in the West 2nd Street historic district are in the tour, along with the 1916 Antique Wedding House, the 1934 Nesbitt Farmhouse and the Irving School.
Tickets are $15 and include admission to the Mesa Historical Museum, 2345 N. Horne. The tour runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the museum, in the historic district the day of the tour, or at www.mesahistoricalmusuem.org. Proceeds benefit the Mesa Historical Museum.
