Three candidates, including Mayor John Insalaco, will be on the ballot for Apache Junction's mayoral primary election March 10.

Insalaco will face former City Councilman Dave Waldron and resident Noel Benoist. Insalaco and Waldron faced each other in a 2007 election, which Insalaco won.

Ten residents are vying for three council seats in the primary. Councilmen R.E. Eck, Rick Dietz and Doug Coleman are running for re-election. They'll face John Kantowski, Christa Rizzi, Elliott Fischer, Janice Stenglein, Andrew Whiteneck, Ted Mueller and David Dowdle.
