Coconino County sheriff’s deputies and Flagstaff police officers are searching for four teenagers who escaped from a correctional program Wednesday.
Patti Cordova, director of communications for the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, said the boys, ages 16 and 17, were participating in a wilderness program run by Adventure Discovery at Stoneman Lake.
The boys escaped about 9:30 a.m. following a disturbance and warrants have been issued for their arrest, Cordova said. No one was injured during the incident.
Cordova declined to provide the boys’ hometowns.
