Steve Kovach, president of Kovach Inc., and Marge Ebeling, CEO and founder of WellCare Foundation, will be honored in October as East Valley Fresh Start Women’s Foundation Man and Woman of the Year. The “Night of Heroes” dinner honoring Kovach and Ebeling will take place Oct. 7 at San Tan Elegante.
Kovach has suported Improving Chandler Area Neighborhoods (ICAN), worked with students to build a community garden, supported after-school programs and provided financial support. Ebeling developed two primary care clinics for underinsured single women and their children.
Kovach and Ebeling embody “the essence of Fresh Start’s mission, to help women help themselves,” according to a news release.

So they are going to waste a whole bunch of money that could be used for local charities to pat themselves on the back for what? Doing there jobs?
