Salvation Army to hire 60 bell ringers

The Salvation Army's Chandler branch is looking to hire up to 60 bell ringers to collect donations for the 2009 Christmas season.

The seasonal positions begin Nov. 27, the day after Thanksgiving, and end Dec. 24. The position pays $7.50 an hour, according to Jason Koenig, head of the Salvation Army Chandler Corps. Working hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Apply at the Salvation Army, 85 E. Saragosa St. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Applicants must have a valid picture identification and Social Security card.
