Where were your "ASU alerts" on this one, Michael Crow? - You're worthless.
Where were the police hired to make Tempe safer when this happened? - Out ticketing kids for underage drinking and harassing motorists with petty traffic citations. Oh yeah, and maybe riding around on horses on Mill Avenue in order to deter bar crime by intimidation. Those are the core initiatives (revenue generators) of the Tempe police department. Maybe we as a community need to move those resources into streets and neighborhoods and stop worrying so much about petty traffic tickets and "underage" drinking by 18-20 year olds.

It all starts with the media. How about having the courage to describe the truth in it's entirety:
The suspect descriptions, which were released shortly before the officers and volunteers began canvassing the neighborhoods, include a black male approximately 25 years old, around 6 feet tall and with a thin build and another black male around 5 feet, 9 inches tall, Carbajal said.

You know, you folks can make anti-cop comments or whatever...but that's pointless & does NO good in the long run! What is important here is these are REAL humans (I am also including here the stabbing of Casey Blackwood) being dehumanized/killed in my neighborhood and there is ZERO information being made available to the people in the neighborhood. I live here all year (have been for 10+ years now) & I have to do Google searches to get vague paragraph-long reports from East Valley Tribune. Do you guys have actual reporters working there? I can get just as much info from the people working at Circle K as these 2 articles provided. What is going on in the neighborhood? Are these related? How many deaths before we get more than a 3rd-grade-level paragraph? I live here! I walk on these streets.

Isn't it ironic how the Father, Dan Marco, went on TV today putting out an offer to get the perps to surrender. This is the smae Dan Marco that has made a career of being a criminal defense lawyer. Did he ever feel the pain that other family's, or victims felt when guys like him use every slimy tactic in the book to get other low life criminals off? Yes Dan Marco - you and others like you have prevented many many many victims and their families the justice you want so bad. Karma is a go getter!
And it is interesting how the same Police he has criticized, bashed, etc his whole career - are the same Police he is now hoping solve his sons murder! Be careful when you criticize the Police - you may need them someday!!
