Suspect caught in killing of photo-radar worker

Thomas Destories, 68, is accused of shooting Scottsdale-based Redflex Traffic Systems worker Douglas Georgianni, 51, on April 19 while Georgianni was inside a van at Loop 101 and Seventh Avenue talking to his wife on the phone.

Destories also was indicted on felony charges of drive-by shooting and discharge of a firearm at a structure in connection to Georgianni’s death, according to the county attorney’s office.
