Students have been cleared to move back into three rooms at Higley High School after mold and water damage had forced them to move, said Mark Busch, the Higley Unified School District’s executive director of budget and finance.
The water damage happened over the holiday break. A company was brought in to remove the part of the walls with mold and clean up the area.
The company tested the rooms to make sure they were safe, and the students have been cleared to move back into the rooms, Higley school district Superintendent Joyce Lutrey said.
