A motorist passing a collision struck a parked police motorcycle Tuesday on Loop 202 in Chandler.

According to Lt. Stephen Harrison, state Department of Public Safety spokesman, no officer was on the motorcycle when it was struck at 9:06 a.m. The officer was investigating a previous collision on the westbound Loop 202 ramp to Loop 101.

The car that struck the bike then hit a bystander on the roadside.

Harrison said the bystander complained of leg pain after the collision.
