According to Sgt. Darren Burch, Phoenix police Silent Witness coordinator, Ricardo Sanchez-Molinares and Fermin Gomez are “persons of interest” in the death of Linsey Chainhalt, 20.
Chainhalt was slain in an apparent road-rage incident June 14, 2003, as she drove three friends from a party in Mesa about 2 a.m.
A car had chased Chainhalt’s car until she was stopped
at 20th Street and Grovers Avenue in Phoenix, where someone opened fire on her car. Her passengers were seriously wounded.
Three suspects fled in a blue Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon with tinted windows.
Burch said Silent Witness is offering an $11,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information should call (480) 948-6377.
